Marti Brown, national instructor at Bead Fest and Bead & Button, will guide our adventures in forging, folding, texturing, and coloring niobium, a hypoallergenic metal, with amazing non-toxic techniques to create beautiful earrings and a pendant necklace! Registrants can enjoy this full-day class at significant savings off of bead show class prices.

Kit Prices:

Rainforest Leaves $35 - includes 20 gauge unanodized niobium wire; 3x3 inch 26 gauge unanodized niobium sheet; small package of magatama seed beads; 3M sanding pad.

Corsage Pendant $40 - includes 14, 16, 24 gauge unanodized niobium wire; 24, 26 gauge unanodized niobium sheet; SilverSilk Capture over colored ball chain; crimp ends; Swarovski crystals.

More about Marti: She has had an interest in the arts since childhood. Her dream to become a professional artist and artisan was realized upon completion of her BFA in jewelry making. Marti’s passion has been designing jewelry for 30+ years and teaching. She works in a variety of traditional and contemporary jewelry metals and processes, currently in the colorful medium of niobium with, of course, beads.

Besides teaching at national Bead Fest and Bead & Button shows, Marti serves as president of the Delaware Valley Bead Society.
