January 2020 Meeting

 Come celebrate the New Year building a new beadweaving skill, working on a UFO, or socializing with your beading buddies!

In preparation for Kathy Koppinger's February 8th class, the January 2nd program bead education tutorial will be

Tubular Herringbone

taught by SJBS programs chair, Johanna Zitto

Since tubular herringbone stitch builds from a Ladder stitch foundation, you will learn two stitches and build your skills in ample time to practice for Kathy's stunning necklace/bracelet creation!

Supplies to bring:

• Size 8 seed beads in four (4) different colors
• Beading Needle size 10 or 12
• Beading thread of choice
• Pipe cleaner (if you have one) as a support form for the beaded tube. The instructor will bring some to lend students, too.
