Painted Cabs Class!
SJBS is delighted to welcome back Marti Brown, who always brings us something new, different and fun!
Create custom cabochons using nail polishes and scratch tools. Marti will teach you strokes and tricks in layering the polishes to create eyes and other abstract designs.
When dry these cabochons can be used in wire- wrapping, bead embroidery, or metal work projects.
Skill Level: All levels are welcome.
Kits: Kits will be available at the class for $10. Kit includes 2 large clear glass cabs, 2 medium clear glass cabs, 2 small clear glass cabs, scratch tool.
Instructor: Marti has been designing jewelry for over 30 years, since completing her BFA in jewelry making. She works in a variety of traditional and contemporary jewelry metals and processes, including niobium and beads. Marti is also a founding member of the Delaware Valley Bead Society.
